The marvels of modern technolgy have given us a number of valuable tools for connecting people and distributing information. In order to subscribe to the blog/podcast you will need to have a News aggregator. It is simply a program that keeps a list of the “feeds” you are interested in and which routinely reviews the information in a feed to seekng recently updated sites. This updated information will be downloaded to your computer for you to review at your leisure. It is sort of like surfing the net, except the net surfs to you.Personally I am a fan of the web based aggregators. I have tried out both Rojo and Bloglines. Both were easy to use and update with new feeds. After the trial it seems as thought Bloglines has one the battle for the time being. If you are starting to see the potential that this kind of trechnology has consider spending a couple of minutes picking out a news reader (sorry, same as aggregator) that you like. Now that you have that sorted out all you have to do is click on the subscribe button which corresponds with the newreader/aggregator you have chosen. Not on the list, click the orange xml button, copy the URI from the browser address bar and paste it into the appropriate place in your newsreader.
